 The weight is moved back from the face of the club. This design makes the club more stable without having to increase the club's weight. With this  weighting pattern the same amount of swing weight  is more effective at keeping shots on target. The increased leverage this weight pattern creates also combines with the stronger base materials  in the C-4 graphite and XL steel shafts to store and release more of the power from each swing into the ball.
