What you see here in blue are computer CAD drawings of the new  X_10 design. What the computer saw was a way to increase head size without reducing  the  low / perimeter weighting that makes a fairway woods work well. These  images show how we removed the side surface and redistributed that weight to increase head size and low / perimeter weighting at the same time.

The X-10 Fairway woods combine a larger head with a lower, deeper center-of-gravity. This weighting design gives the club two advantages.

1) The design produces good shots when the lie is tight or the the shot is hit thin.

2) If the ball is hit off center to the toe or heel, the club resists twisting . Again; the result is a good shot where other clubs produce poor results.
