When you play, you are constantly switching from woods to hybrids to irons. Irons sets require adjustments in where and how the ball needs to be hit. The Energy iron eliminates a lot of those adjustments. When designing this set, we looked at what needed to be changed in the irons to get more consistency with the other clubs in the bag. We did the math.; made the changes, and maintained that new formula throughout the set. The changes that were required were; more blade length, a change in the back weight shaping, and a flow in the face progression with each change in loft.

To this new formula we added some important refinements. There is a 3 line face alignment method combined with a toe shape that has 1.2 inches of the toe perpendicular to the ground on every club. You are going to know exactly where you are aiming with this set. We beveled to sole at 15 degrees to ensure that the ground contact comes under the club’s center-of gravity. That stops the club from changing loft when it contacts the ground.

The result is a more consistent game. You will be surprised how coming off a tee shot, the 8 iron needs very little adjustment. Those shots that used to require big adjustments —like that Sand Wedge shot from the fairway— are a lot easier to play with the Energy set.
