The difference in this new design
1) Multi Level Back Cavity : This design improves the solidness of the ball hitting the face. The thicker area directly behind the hitting area strengthens the face and reduces vibration caused by hitting the ball. The result is, more of your power is fed into the shot. The thinner areas remove weight from areas that don't receive direct hits, and allows that weight to be spread to better balance the club. 2) Longer Blade : The increase in head size allows the club to be more stable by increasing its' moment-of-inertia. With this design, an off-center hit cannot turn the blade off line as easily. That keeps more of your shots going toward the target. 3) Centered Balance Point : There is a natural center on which to hit an iron. Players more easily repeat hits midway between the sole/shaft-axis intersection and the end of the club. Other clubs are designed without the balance point centered on both the blade and the hitting area. Therefore, other clubs require considerable practice to overcome your natural tendency. The Riley Black Belt XL irons help you maximize power and precision by putting the hitting location where it works with your natural tendency. This better engineering will mean better golf for you.
3) Vertical Balance Point Alignment: The back pattern weighting angle varies in unison with each clubs' loft. That keeps the sweet spot aligned vertically with where the ball actually hits the face. This design means more consistent distance control on your shots which is crucial for good irons play. 4) Personalization : These irons are the ultimate in personalization also. They will have have your name engraved on the iron head itself.
